There is a wonderful Twitter hangout called #Frys where great tweeps from all over the world meet daily for 24hours of fun and frolics. A very friendly hangout for all to enjoy include new users to Twitter. You'll find a place for banters, parties, intellectual conversations too in the form of enlightening weekly pub quiz nights.

Created by the delighfully charming and entertaining host - StephenFry. The #Frys fun is further joined by the constantly expanding Alter Egoes of the Stephen Fry's family:  MrsStephenFry (wife), StephenettaFry (daughter), FrysDaughter(daughter), StephenFryMnr (son), StephenFryJnr (son) and few more siblings (watch this space lol)

To start tweeting in #Frys room:

• Include the "#Frys" text anywhere in your tweet if you want the #Frys community to read your tweet and reply. Please ensure the hashtag (#) is always attached to the "Frys" text. This is the only way the #Frys community will be able to see your tweets.
• To avoid spamming your followers when tweeting with #Frys regulars:
  • you can create a new profile with a suggested name such as, in my case, HappysoulFrys OR
  • you reply by clicking Reply button on a user's name in #Frys room so your reply becomes a Private Mention to most of your followers. Please ensure you do not manually write out the tweep's name because it will be seen as a Public Mention and not as a Private Mention. As a public mention, all your followers will be able to see your tweet.
    [Important Note: Using Private Mention (by clicking Reply button to a tweep's name), your follower will still be able to see all your tweets if he/ she follows both you and the person you are sending a Private Mention to]

To access #Frys room, there are 3 ways:

• Via Twitter Search facility by just clicking #Frys. However, you will need to refresh this Search page (room) every so often to review tweets or click on yellow tagline under Search box to refresh and see new tweets since last viewing of page.
• Via Twitter Clients (TweetDeck, Seismic, Hootsuite, etc), create a group column by searching "#Frys" word and save this group. The new "#Frys" group will remain in your viewable column streams until you delete it. You will be able to see all the tweets with the "#Frys" text included anywhere in their tweet, even if it's in a private Mention. As a Twitter Client, all your tweets will feed into your designated columns without requiring to refresh as in aTwitter page.
• Via TwitterFall (fave web Twitter App of Stephen Fry's) by clicking here.You would have to sign into the Twitter App either directly on TwitterFall or via Twitter's secure OAuthorisation.
